HIV and SARS-CoV-2 Coinfection in Pregnancy: Case Report

چکیده
The ongoing outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection has been associated with worse outcomes in several populations, including those co-morbidities. Pregnant women are one such group individuals that may be at increased risk related to physiologic changes metabolic and maternal immune system normal pregnancy. This increase underlying immunocompromised states as people living HIV (PLWH). However, there is currently limited data on pregnant disease (COVID-19) HIV. In this paper, a case infected COVID-19 co-infection reported.

We report a laboratory-confirmed case of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in a pregnant woman. Although the patient had respiratory failure, a healthy infant was subsequently delivered, and the mother is now well. There was no evidence of viral shedding at delivery.
